Key milestones in our journey
Sustainability is now a core requirement embedded at the heart of our development process. This year saw the formalisation of our sustainability strategy, which enabled us to organise our commitments and bolster our action plans.
OUR WATCHES
Supply chain transparency
Supply chain mapping: 100% mapping completed for gold; significant progress in the knowledge of all supply chains related to watch production (e.g. diamonds and steel).
Biodiversity and water: Launch of the Nature project, which aims to identify the pressures the brand places on water and biodiversity within its own environment and further up its supply chain.
Sustainable products and customer value
Raw material consumption: Working with suppliers to decrease our raw material consumption, particularly for gold, thereby minimising wastage and optimising the salvaging and processing of production waste.
Eco-design: Integration of single score calculations in collaboration with the technical department in order to measure environmental impact from the design stage onwards.
PEOPLE
Responsible employer
• Integration of inclusive language on our careers site so that every candidate feels represented, welcome and valued within our company.
• Working with an ergonomist to improve working conditions and prevent musculoskeletal disorders at the Manufacture.
• Launch of prevention campaigns promoting flu vaccination, healthy eating, awareness of cardiovascular risks and visual screening.
Knowledge development
Training centre: Opening of a training centre at the Le Locle manufacture to support skills development and host the first apprentices within the company.
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Social impact
Social impact and carbon footprint of events activities: Measuring the social impact and carbon footprint of our events activities in relation to the Giro d’Italia 2025 cycling race and the Watches & Wonders 2025 international watch fair.
Sustainability awareness raising and training:
• Organisation of "Climate Fresk" and "MyCO2" workshops for teams at Kenissi, the main supplier of movements for TUDOR watches and an affiliate of the brand.
• "Ethical Procurement" training delivered to 18 people from various departments within the brand who deal directly with suppliers or service providers.
• Gaining a basic understanding of Social Life Cycle Assessment. This topic, which is still new to us, is set to develop gradually within the company, enhancing our understanding and management of the social impact of our activities.
Business conduct
Ethical communication: Launch of the sustainability section on the website.
We have initiated an integrated approach to strengthen our responsibility in the supply chain and affirm our commitment to climate and social issues. This approach encompasses the different pillars of our business:
Our Watches
Supply chain transparency
Supply chain mapping: Our purchasing department is committed to mapping our supply chain and deepening our understanding of the environmental, social, and governance risks associated with our suppliers. The program starts with the watch components.
People
Responsible employer
Health, safety and well-being at work: A commitment to health and the prevention of occupational risks, bolstered by the recruitment of a nurse at the manufacture, the implementation of workstation mapping by Unisanté to better identify ergonomic risks, as well as visual ergonomics projects and the launch of a programme on psychosocial risks.
Our responsibilities
Social impact
Validation of the “Climate” roadmap: Identification of the critical points of our carbon footprint and implementation of a reduction strategy. Objective: 25% reduction by 2030 on scopes 1, 2 and 3 to reach the reduction threshold defined by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) to which we are a signatory. All TUDOR departments are engaged.
Mandatory awareness-raising workshops and training to encourage a proactive approach to sustainability at all levels of the organisation:
• DEI seminar targeted at the company's Executive Committee.
• "Gold" Masterclass for the Executive Committee to raise awareness challenges of this material, which has a significant impact on the company's carbon footprint.
• Mandatory "Climate Fresk" and "MyCO2" workshops to raise awareness of climate issues among all employees.
• "Sustainability focus" e-learning course.
• Face-to-face training on Life Cycle Assessment and Eco-design.
Governance and business ethics
• Material analysis in collaboration with stakeholders to identify key issues and align our actions with expectations.
• CSR Collaborative Day, bringing together business units to co-construct strategy.
• Publication of first sustainability report.
We have laid the groundwork for our commitment by carrying out key assessments:
CARBON FOOTPRINT AND CSR DIAGNOSIS
The Planet, Respect for the environment. Carrying out our first carbon footprint assessment of the fiscal year 2021, that will serve as a reference year.
The People, Governance and business ethics. In-depth analysis of the current state of our social responsibility.
RAISING AWARNESS OF CLIMATE CHANGE AMONG HEAD OFFICE TEAMS
The People, Responsible Employer. Mandatory workshops “Climate Fresk” and “Personal Carbon Footprint Measurement”.
MAPPING OF METALS AT RISK
Our Watches, Responsible supply chain. Implementation of a system to detect and address risks related to gold, tin, tantalum and tungsten.
Objective: ensure
1. Sourcing practices are not linked to conflict, armed groups, money laundering, corruption, or illegal mining.
2. Prevention of child labor.
The first ODiTr report was published in June 2024.
